Everyone loves Nutella, and everyone loves pancakes. So why not combine the two? This delicious recipe for Nutella Pancakes gives your flapjacks a lovely, warm and creamy center. Mmm!
What You’ll Need:
Parchment paper
Nutella
1-½ cups flour
4 tbsp. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 cup milk
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Butter, for cooking
Powdered sugar and fruit, for toppings
What You’ll Do:
First, line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Then, spoon scoops of Nutella onto the baking sheet, spreading the Nutella into disc shapes. Put the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze the Nutella for 1 to 2 hours.
Next, take a large bowl and add in your flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir the ingredients to combine well. Then pour in the milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Whisk everything together until you end up with a smooth, thick batter.
Melt some butter in a pan, then pour in 1 cup of your batter. Take a frozen Nutella disc and place it in the center of the batter, then pour another cup of batter over top. Cook as you would regular pancakes, then when they’re done, top your pancakes with powdered sugar and the fruit of your choice. Yum!
