Ilive for chocolate, and if you do too, this recipe is about to be your new favorite. Chocolate Rocky Road Cups are ridiculously delicious, easy to make and requires absolutely no baking. For this recipe, a good rule of thumb is – the chunkier, the better. Oh yeah…
The fabulous kitchen host, OnePotChef starts with melting two types of chocolate. He is using both sweet and dark chocolate. In a pot of boiling water, he puts in a glass boil with chocolate. The boil never comes into contact with the water, because it can get burned. My mouth is drooling already.
After the chocolate is melted, he adds cherries, peanuts, mini marshmallows and mixes. He then lines a muffin tray with paper cups and fill with the decadent treat right up to the top. He places his concoction into the fridge for 30 – 60 minutes or until the chocolate has set.
OnePotChef notes that if you or someone in your family is allergic to peanuts, pieces of cookies can work just as well. Also, you can mix and match ingredients to your liking. I am going to experiment with some strawberries and oats. Yummy!
